Winter Park diner closing after 35 years in business

A diner that has celebrated its 35th year in business this year will permanently close its doors at the end of next month.

Linda’s Winter Park Diner will close its location at 1700 West Fairbanks Avenue in Winter Park at the end of July, according to a statement issued by the company earlier this year.

“At the end of July, Linda is retiring and the Winter Park Diner will no longer be the diner,” reads the statement.

Owned and operated by Linda D’Auria, this past March, the diner celebrated 35 years at its location. The company says D’Auria is set to retire to spend time with her grandchildren and to travel.

“It’s bitter sweet because we love our customers and have been a part of the Winter Park community for the past 35 years. Linda has been an incredible boss and is truly an icon. We are so excited for her to enjoy retirement, travel and her grandchildren. Please come visit before we close towards the end of July. It’s true what they say ‘All good things come to an end.'”

Open every day at 7 a.m., the restaurant became a staple serving up a wide variety of all-day breakfast options and five homemade specials daily.
