Seafood restaurant in Dr. Phillips undergoing renovations, menu upgrades

A seafood restaurant in Dr. Phillips under new ownership is planning renovations and menu upgrades, according to a statement to its customers.

Big Fin, which is located at 8046 Via Dellagio Way, has been acquired by Orlando-area real estate investment firm Estein USA, according to the statement.

“While maintaining our commitment to excellence, we are thrilled to unveil a range of remarkable enhancements,” says the company.

As part of the transition, Big Fin is introducing a new, raw bar that will be restocked regularly with fresh, locally caught seafood.

“You can now witness our talented chefs in action, expertly opening oysters and presenting an array of delectable offerings,” reads the statement.

In addition to the raw bar, the restaurant is renovating its outdoor bar and “refining” its interior decor.

Next month, the restaurant says it will unveil a new menu that will “showcase an array of incredible dishes.” That includes a dedicated section featuring “boat to table” selections.

“Big Fin takes great pride in being the sole restaurant in Orlando to offer this exceptional dining adventure.”
