Free posters for photos taken in Seminole County

Seminole County officials are offering free posters for photos taken across a variety of local parks.

Seminole County Leisure Services is asking any visitors to local parks throughout the month of July to share photos as part of this year’s National Park Poster Challenge.

To participate, visitors must go to three Seminole County parks, trails, natural land areas, boat ramps, or museums and take photos at each location.

Photos must be presented to staff during regular business hours at Red Bug Lake Park in Casselberry, Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Sylvan Lake Park in Sanford, and the Museum of Seminole County History in Sanford.

Once verified, recipients may claim a limited edition poster featuring the Black Bear Wilderness Area, the Mountain Bike Skills Course at Markham Woods Trailhead, or the Seminole County Softball Complex.

For more information on the program, or to see a complete list of parks in Seminole County, visit the Seminole County Parks, Trails, and Natural Lands webpage.
