Orlando police looking for suspect in sexual battery at local park

The Orlando Police Department is asking the public for help to find a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual battery at a local park.

On May 20, OPD officers responded to a victim’s home regarding a sexual battery that took place earlier in the day at Signal Hill Park, which is located at 3877 Watch Hill Road.

According to OPD, the woman rode her bicycle to the park and was approached by the unknown man. The suspect introduced himself as “Marcus” before he took the woman’s bicycle and lured her into a wooded area. While she was there, the man sexually battered her and searched for valuables on her body.

The suspect is described to be in his late teens or early twenties. The victim says the suspect was riding a light blue mountain bike, was shirtless, had a tattoo on his left shoulder, and was wearing black pants and black sneakers.
