Volunteers sought for Downtown Orlando clean-up event

Volunteers are needed to help keep Downtown Orlando trash-free and beautiful.

Volunteers are invited to gather on Sunday, September 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the parking lot at Washington Street and Garland Ave (free parking), in Orlando, to clean up the neighborhood.

Those who attend will pick up supplies when checking in at registration, then break up into groups and head out from the host business. From there, volunteers will clean up discarded trash, cigarette butts, and wash graffiti off walls around downtown Orlando.

Volunteers will receive free tickets to either an Orlando City Pride soccer match or an Orlando Magic preseason game.

For more information, visit the Downtown Orlando community clean-up webpage.
