Local zoo celebrating Native American culture with sunset event

The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens will host a Sunset Event this week to celebrate Hispanic culture and heritage in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.

Sunset at the Zoo will take place on Friday, September 22, from 5:00 p.m. until sunset.

Visitors will be able to explore the zoo with activities such as cultural vendors, food trucks, a DJ, cultural entertainers, themed crafts, and family activities until the sun goes down.

Tickets for the event start at $6.
