Leu Gardens hosting Happy Frights and Haunting Nights

A special, immersive Halloween experience returning to the Harry P. Leu Gardens this week will allow visitors to experience the beauty of the park with eery decor and jump scares along the way.

Leu Gardens will host Happy Frights, Haunted Nights starting this Friday, September 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The events will take place on select evenings through October 31 at the park, which is located at 1920 N Forest Avenue.

The first experience, Happy Frights, will feature immersive worlds throughout the gardens, plus eight trick-or-treating stations along the way. Throughout the gardens, there will be a dancing bridge troll, a garden of sunflowers, a neon-light maze, a chance to climb up a giant hay pyramid, and an elaborate Dia de Muertos set up, among other areas.

Haunting Nights offers an elevated, artful, and exciting Halloween experience in the gardens, with a few jump scares and all the exciting Happy Frights experiences. The Haunting Nights adventure is recommended for guests 13 and up.
