Orlando Fire Department hosting open house at local station

The Orlando Fire Department will host an open house this weekend at one of its newest stations.

The open house will take place on Saturday, October 14, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fire Station 9, which is located at 3856 Center Loop.

This free event will feature hands-on CPR training, blood pressure and glucose checks, station tours, fire safety information, food, and other activities.

Opened in 2021, Fire Station 9 serves the Rosemont Community, commercial warehouses, and industrial buildings. This station was designed to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace and includes private, individual crew bunk rooms, showers, and restrooms, as well as a secure room for special use.
