2 found dead in Orlando home, police looking for suspects

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for any information that may help them find the suspect(s) responsible for shooting two individual to death inside an Orlando home.

The fatal shooting took place on Tuesday, October 10, at a home in the 1300 block of Santa Anita Street in the area of North Pine Hills Road and Balboa Street.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene after receiving reports regarding a shooting.

Upon arrival, deputies found the bodies of 30-year-old Shameka Filidor and 22-year-old Smyley Charles. Both individuals had been shot and were taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.

Authorities say the shooting took place at around 4:30 a.m., but no additional information has been released regarding the incident.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information to share it anonymously through the Central Florida Crimeline at 800-423-8477. Tips that lead to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
