Boba shop fails health inspection due to rodent activity

A local boba tea shop was forced to temporarily close its doors last week after a health inspector found multiple code violations, including the presence of rodent activity.

Quickly Boba & Snow was closed on Monday, November 20, after it was cited for at least eight health code violations, according to a report from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

During the inspection, the sole high priority violation found was the presence of rodent activity. The inspector found approximately 30 rat droppings under bags of rice, another 30 droppings under the front counter and inside cabinets, and another 10 rodent droppings in the Kitchen.

The business, which is located at 3214 E Colonial Drive, was reinspected on Tuesday, November 21. It was permitted to reopen after only three violations were found.
