Earl Jackson Vaughan

Earl Vaughan was born on 11/26/1927. Earl attended Princeton Elementary, Orlando High school, Riverside Military Academy and graduated from Duke University in 1949. Earl was a businessman entrepreneur who took a local fernery to an international operation that focused on retail houseplants sold throughout the country. On his time off, Earl enjoyed spending time on the deck at Lake Rabun in north Georgia or at his farm, La Linda in Costa Rica. He also enjoyed hunting, sailing, golfing, spending time with his family and also being an aviator, logging over 9000 hours in flight. Earl was a member of the Orlando First Presbyterian Church, Country Club of Orlando and Rotary International.

Earl was called home to the Lord on June 11th, 2022.He is survived by his wife of 72 years Madge, sons Jack (Christine), Bob, Rick (Katie) and grandchildren Eli, Katie, Clint, Andy, Rayle and Graham. Services are being held at the Orlando First Presbyterian Church Saturday the 18th of June at 11:00.
