Asian Lantern Festival to celebrate New Year’s Eve

The Central Florida Zoo is inviting guests to take part in its Asian Lantern Festival to ring in the new year.

The Asian Lantern Festival will be on Sunday, December 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens, which is located at 3755 W. Seminole Blvd. in Sanford.

The New Year’s Eve celebration will feature spectacular holiday lights show, music, and New Year’s countdowns at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. The event is family friendly.

Three time slots are available at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7:15 p.m., with the last entry at 7:45 p.m.
