A Broadway musical version of Disney’s Aladdin is taking residence in downtown Orlando for a multi-night run beginning this week.
Multiple performances of Aladdin are scheduled from January 3 through January 7 at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, which is located at 445 S. Magnolia Avenue in Orlando.
Aladdin follows the story of a lowly “street rat” whose life is transformed when he meets a wish-granting genie. The show will feature all of the classic Disney songs from the film as well as new music written by Tony and Academy Award winner Alan Menken. The production is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw.
