1 killed, 1 injured in west Orlando shooting

Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting that took place in west Orlando over the weekend that left a man injured and a woman dead.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 7300 block of Woodhill Park Drive on Saturday, January 13, at a round 11:50 a.m.

Upon arrival, deputies found a man and a woman, both in their 30s, who were suffering from gunshot wounds.

The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The man was transported to a local hospital and was in stable condition as of this weekend, according to OCSO.

No additional information was released regarding a potential suspect.
