Bob Dylan coming to Central Florida for series of shows

A 10-time Grammy Award-winning musician who has sold over 145 million records over the past 60 years will perform multiple shows across Central Florida soon.

Bob Dylan will make stops in Orlando, Clearwater, and Fort Myers, among several other cities in Florida, as part of his upcoming tour,

The shows in Orlando will take place on Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10, at 8 p.m. in the Walt Disney Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center (445 S. Magnolia Avenue).

Widely regarded as one of the greatest songwriters of all time, Dylan established himself as one of the world’s most influential artists with his self-titled debut in 1962.

Over Dylan’s 60-year career, classics like “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “Like a Rolling Stone,” and “Mr. Tambourine Man” have earned a place in the Grammy Hall of Fame, as well as becoming anthems of civil rights and antiwar movements.

Dylan has won many awards throughout his career, including ten Grammy Awards, the 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature, an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe Award. He has been inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Dylan also received the Polar Music Prize from Sweden’s King Carl XVI.

Tickets for the concert start at $62.00, with packages going up to $716.00.
