Fire in back bedroom engulfs Oviedo home with smoke

A fire that broke out in the back bedroom of a home in Oviedo produced heavy smoke that engulfed the entire residence.

Firefighters from the Oviedo Fire Department and Seminole County Fire Department responded to Lingo Lane on Monday afternoon after receiving reports of a structure fire.

Upon arrival, emergency crews encountered heavy smoke coming from the back of the home.

Firefighters extinguished the flames, which were isolated to the back bedroom of the home.

There were no injuries reported as result of the fire.

The Bureau of Fire, Arson and Explosives is investigating the cause of the fire.
