One individual was transported to a local hospital after escaping a home ravaged by fire in Maitland yesterday morning.
Crews from the Seminole County Fire Department, Winter Park Fire Rescue, and Maitland Fire Rescue Department responded to reports of a structure fire on Mechanic Street at 8:16 a.m. on Thursday, February 8.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered the structure engulfed in flames and smoke.
One patient was transported from the home to a local hospital.
The fire was taken under control by authorities and is currently under investigation.
