Sanford Mardi Gras parade this weekend

The 10th Annual Sanford Mardi Gras Street Party and Parade will return to historic downtown Sanford this weekend.

The Mardi Gras street party will be on Saturday, February 17, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The parade starts on 6th Street and Sanford Avenue, and will proceed down Sanford Avenue all the way down to West End Trading Company.

The event will feature musicians, golf carts, dancers, artists, and the community. 

There will be food trucks, live music, and craft beer and cocktails. Proceeds from the event will benefit Meals on Wheels.
