Airline announces new route from Chile to Orlando

An airline has announced the addition of a new route between Orlando and the country of Chile.

Delta Airlines and the LATAM group will reactivate the route between Santiago, Chile and Orlando International Airport from June 16 to September 28, 2024, according to a statement issued by the company.

Starting in June, flights will depart from Chile to Orlando every Thursday and Sunday at 11:15 a.m. (local time). The flight will arrive at 8:15 p.m. (local time).

Flights from Orlando will depart every Thursday and Sunday at 10:25 p.m. (local time), arriving in Chile at 7 a.m. (local time) the next day.

From July onwards, Sunday flights will be operated on Saturdays on the same itinerary.

Paused in 2018 by the LATAM group, the seasonal route marks a new step in the joint venture between Delta and the company. According to the statement, the group has already launched six new routes between South America and the United States.

The companies say they plan to fly approximately 12,800 customers during the summer season in the United States. Aside from customers from Chile, the route will also make it easier for travelers from Brazil to access Orlando during the travel season.
