Wild art at the Central Florida Zoo

The Central Florida Zoo is inviting visitors to an up-close encounter with an animal and an accompanying painting session.

Wild Zoo Art will take place on Saturday, March 2, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, which is located at 3755 W. Seminole Blvd. in Sanford.

The event will give visitors the opportunity to meet a special animal up close before painting its portrait. An art instructor will guide everyone to create their own masterpiece, and animals at the zoo will also be on display.

Supplies will be provided, and the event is recommended for children ages 5 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult. 

The event costs $17 for annual pass-holders and $19 for non-annual pass-holders.
