Lou E. Watford

Lou E. Watford, 85 of Osceola County passed away after battling cancer on Saturday, June 18, 2022. She was born in Madison County, Florida, the daughter of Lucious M. Williams and Faye M. Griffin Williams. She moved from Madison Co. to Kissimmee in 1940 and was a lifelong Osceola County resident.


Lou was a long-time employee of Tupperware Home Parties. Starting in the print department in 1963, she later held a wide variety of key administrative and logistical roles in Tupperware’s Sales Promotions and Sales Conferences departments to later become Manager of Presentations, 1963-1993. Lou’s sustained experience and insights made her a valuable leader too many over the years. Lou was like the “starting gun” for coordinating Tupperware Jubilee events by creating a massive extensive Projects List, which informed everyone on what they needed to do and when they needed to have it completed by. Lou was also instrumental in organizing team member list, merchandise shipments and accurate review of physical award recognition.
Her efforts contributed to some of Tupperware’s success and continued growth. She retired in 1993 serving 30 years working for Tupperware Home Parties.
Lou attended Poinciana Christian Church.


Lou is predeceased by her husband Jimmie Watford; father: Lucious Willams; mother: Faye Griffin; stepbrother: Ralph Shore; sisters: Anne Dunn and Faye Padgett.
Survivors include three sons: Michael Watford, Mitchell Watford, and Mark (Priscila) Watford; brother: Bud Williams; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life memorial service for Lou will be 10:00 AM. Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Poinciana Christian Church, 3181 Pleasant Hill Road, Kissimmee, Florida 34746, with the Minister Mike Black officiating.
Reception for family and friends will be following the services in the Church’s Social Hall.
