Orlando police ID suspect in fatal pool hall shooting; $5K reward offered for info

Update: Shortly after 4:45 p.m. on Friday, April 5, the Orlando Police Department announced that Theodric Camps has been located and arrested.

Orlando police have identified a male suspect who allegedly shot and killed another man at a local pool hall last month.

In a recent social media post, the Orlando Police Department identified Theodric Camps as the suspect who allegedly committed the homicide on Saturday, March 2.

At around 8:05 p.m. on March 2, a 911 caller reported that a victim had been shot at Chill Game Room located at 3918 Columbia Street, according to OPD.

Upon arrival at the incident location, OPD officers located a male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Jeremy J. Powell.

OPD detectives launched an investigation, which ultimately led to them identifying Camps as the prime suspect. No further details were provided by Orlando police.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Camps, according to OPD.
