Vifrancis Celestina Lopez

Vifrancis Celestina Lopez was born in Cuba on April 6, 1936 to Vidal Prudencio Diaz and Francisca Diaz Diaz in the city of Santa Clara. She was affectionately called Vifo to her friends and to her grandchildren she was lela or abuela.

Vifrancis is survived by her sisters, Cilda Castellanos Diaz and Noemi Diaz Diaz, her children are Marlene Vangelakos, Reinaldo Lopez, Ismary Cuellar, Vifrancis Virgilio, Cilda Costa, and Noemi Dedouh. Her grandchildren include Philip, Timothy, Paul, Efrain, Danilo, Ismary, David, Reinaldo, Gabriel Benjamin, Marilyn, Matthew, Jonathan, Aaron, Robert Daniel, Steven, Andrew, Emilio. Her great grandchildren include Alessandra, Natalia, Kyara, Bianca, AJ and Elena, Isabela, Juliana, Camila, Roberto. Lara, Madison, Matthew Anthony, and Robert Isaac.

She met the love of her life in the summer of 1952, Francisco Reinaldo Lopez, and they were married on December 26, 1956. In 1971 she left her beloved Cuba for Spain and later settled in the state of New Jersey, USA. In 1984 she moved again to Orlando, Florida where she resided until her death on April 5, 2024.

Vifrancis trained as a seamstress and also was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed gardening and was a Pentecostal who loved the Lord with all her heart. Vifrancis leaves a legacy of a God serving family that loved her very much.
