Comedian Ron White heading to Hard Rock Live Orlando this week

A comedian who shot to international fame through his time on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour will perform in Orlando this Friday, and a handful of tickets are still available.

Ron White will stop by Hard Rock Live Orlando (6050 Universal Boulevard) for two shows on April 19, at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

A stand-up comedian, actor, and author, White is best known as a charter member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Nicknamed “Tater Salad,” he is the author of the book I Had the Right to Remain Silent But I Didn’t Have the Ability, which appeared on the New York Times bestseller list.

Over the years, the comedian has been honored by multiple organizations. April 27 was designated as “Ron White Day” in the State of Texas by Texas legislative officials, and White received the Armed Forces Foundation’s “Patriot Award” for his work in raising money to help wounded soldiers.

White has also received two Grammy nominations for Best Comedy Album.
