Bernard Owen DeVore

Bernard Owen DeVore, 99 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was born in Edgar, Nebraska the son of Bert and Mary Cox DeVore.
He moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 2008 from Cooper City, Florida. Bernard was a member of Eastern Avenue Baptist Church in Saint Cloud, Florida, A member of the Kissimmee Military Museum, the Veterans group at Good Samaritan Village and was the author of the Book “From Farm to Flight to Faith”.

Bernard is survived by his daughters: Susan D. LaPointe and her husband Jeff of Saint Cloud, Florida,
Terry D. Mesa and husband Steve of Newark, Delaware; her sister: Helen Eileen West of Ft. Worth, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Bernard was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Virginia DeVore in 2013, and his sister Thelma Nadine Eads.

A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 2:00 P.M.at the Good Samaritan Village Church with Pastor Jim Callen of Eastern Avenue Baptist Church and Dr. D. Timothy Nordstrom officiating.
