Huey Magoo’s is known for its chicken tenders, which come in 3, 5, and 7-piece meals, as well as sandwiches, salads, and wraps.

The restaurant chain was founded in 2004 and currently operates 19 locations in the state of Florida, with 7 additional locations in various phases of construction.

In November 2020, Huey Magoo’s opened a restaurant in nearby Lady Lake to serve The Villages community.

The chicken restaurant is next door to Altura Craft Coffee, which is also currently under build out.

Multiple restaurants and bars have opened their doors in downtown over the past several weeks. That includes Pups Pub, which opened just across the street in July.

The downtown location opens seven days a week at 11 a.m., closing at 9 p.m. on every day except Friday and Saturday, when it stays open until 10 p.m.
