Sanford police looking for man who stole over $2,700 in merchandise from Target

Sanford Police Department is asking the public to help identify a man who allegedly stole over $2,700 in merchandise from a local Target.

According to SPD, the man featured in this story was seen entering the Target located at 1201 WP Ball Boulevard on Friday, September 2.

The man walked to the electronics department, selected a Google router, a Motorola router, and several PlayStation 5 controllers. In total, the items were valued at $2,778.69.

The man exited the store through a seasonal fire exit door and left the scene in a black Toyota Corolla, according to police.
