Frances Marilyn Pease

Frances Marilyn Pease, 91, passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2022. She entered this world on October 23, 1930, as the only child of Agnes Irene (Campbell) and George Donald Turner in Sanford, Maine.

As a child, she grew up in Maine and graduated from Sanford High School in 1948, where she enjoyed sports, drawing, and music. She was a member of the band, Tri-Hi-Y, and the glee club. She was also a member of the Order of Rainbow of the Masonic youth service organization, which taught leadership training through community service. After high school she worked for the US Government in Washington, D.C., where she met her future husband Donald, enjoying 66 blissful years of marriage.
They lived in the states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Indiana, and Florida before her husband retired. Their favorite place to be in all of their worldwide travels was Maui, Hawaii where they enjoyed extended visits over 30 times.

Frances loved life, elegance, and all the opportunities and interests that it provided her. She was very outgoing and enjoyed speaking to everyone she met. especially enjoyed an immaculately kept home, collecting Antiques and Interior Design. She was pursued by new Home Development Companies for her revered Interior Design. Several of her other passions besides running a tight ship as the “Household Executive” where her Family was concerned, were collecting and growing exotic plants, owning Persian cats, and watching Jeopardy. Everything paled in comparison to the love she had for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Frances is survived by her children Michael R. Pease and his wife, Janay, of West Chester, PA; Steven A. Pease and his wife, Sue, of Clermont, FL; Gregory S. (predeceased) and his wife, Marcy, of Linwood, NJ; Susan A. Pease of Winter Springs, FL; Lori L. Finnegan and her husband, John, of Orlando, FL; Mark T. Pease and his wife, Joanne, of Tallahassee, FL; Timothy R. Pease and his wife, Deborah, of Chuluota, FL; and honorary son, Bryan Yopp of Kissimmee, FL.
In addition, she is survived by thirteen grandchildren Jessica (Pease) Bell and her husband, Dr. Michael (PA); Dr. Jason Pease and his wife, Susie (GA); Abigail Pease (NJ), Jacob Pease (NJ), Kaitlyn (Pease) Hohns and her husband, Patrick (FL), Ryan Pease (FL), Tyler Pease (FL), Brandon Pease (FL), Heather Finnegan (FL), Hunter Finnegan (MI), Sarah Finnegan (FL), Samantha Finnegan (FL), and Alexander Finnegan (FL).
In addition, she is survived by four great-grandchildren Aidan and Alexia Bell (PA); Lincoln and Colton Pease (GA).
In addition, there are countless extended family and dear friends she loved. As Frances would say: “Aloha”
