1 dead, 2 trauma alerted, multiple others injured after crash near Yeehaw Junction

At least one person was killed, two were trauma alerted, and over a dozen others were injured after a crash along State Road 60 in Osceola County this morning.

According to the Osceola County Fire Rescue and EMS, the incident took place at around 6:16 a.m. this morning along SR 60 in Kenansville, near the road’s intersection with Peavine Road just west of Yeehaw Junction.

The crash involved a 2017 Dodge Ram, a 2007 Mitsubishi box truck, and a motor coach.

Authorities say at least one person, a passenger in the Dodge Ram, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.

The drivers of the Dodge Ram and the box truck were trauma alerted by Orlando Health Air Care Team helicopters.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 14 passengers on the motor coach transported to hospitals across several counties with non-life threatening injuries.

The road remains closed in both directions west of the Florida Turnpike at this time, with officials estimating that it will take hours to clean up the crash.
