Kathelyn Diane Richards

Kathelyn Diane Richards, age 71, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. She was born in Washington, District of Columbia on October 20, 1950 to parents Robert and Loretta (Long) Snedeker.

Kathelyn is survived by her daughter, Amanda Hallyburton, son-in-law, Samuel Hallyburton and two grandchildren, Alana & Logan Hallyburton. She was a member with the Winter Park Elk’s Lodge. A secretary for twenty-three years where she had many friends whom she cared for, very deeply. She also volunteered at the Frederick Memorial Hospital for several years. She had a soft spot in her heart for ALL animals including her cat, Precious.

“My mother meant the world to me. She was not only an amazing mother but a wonderful grandmother to her two beautiful grandchildren. Words can’t describe my love and appreciation for her. She was a beautiful, strong and driven woman. She put everyone else and their needs before her own. If it weren’t for her I wouldn’t be who I am today. Anyone who knows me, understands how much this loss will affect my life and my family. Losing my mother means losing a large piece of me. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.”

She is so loved and will be greatly missed.
