Orange County will offer large storm debris removal beginning this week.
According to county officials, debris removal contractors will be mobilized on Thursday, October 6, and will make multiple passes throughout the county to collect storm debris. The groups will focus on vegetative debris first, including large branches, tree limbs, logs, and plants.
Residents are asked to place large debris on the curb, at the edge of the property line, and not to stack debris on trees, poles, fire hydrants, or other structures. Do not block the roadway or storm drains, and limit obstruction of sidewalks.
In addition to vegetative debris, contractors will collect steel, wood products, drywall, plaster, brick and clay tile, asphalt shingles, and concrete, among other types.
