The new cafe is located right next door to Huey Magoo’s, which opened its doors in mid-August.

Although the company is new to the scene in downtown, the company’s experience in the coffee industry dates back multiple generations. The cafe prepares specialty coffee grown in the mountains of Nicaragua and handpicked by locals.

In addition to coffee and other drink concoctions, the business will sell pastries and coffee bags of their craft blend.

“Our goal is to showcase EVERY stage within seed to cup process, and why every person involved is important to our legacy,” reads a statement from Stemma’s website.

Stemma joins an ever-expanding list of cafes in downtown Orlando, including Deeply, Credo, and Craft and Common, which was recently named by Yelp as one of the top 100 restaurants in Florida.

It also joins multiple other new cafes and restaurants that have opened in recent months or are slated to open soon.

That includes Double O’s coffee, which is currently building out a location along Colonial Drive, in the My Neighborhood Storage Center building.

Over the past several months, 4Rivers Smokehouse, Pups Pub, Parlay, Bell Hop, and High Tide have all opened new businesses in or around downtown Orlando.

Another longtime Orlando bar, Cleo’s Lounge at 11 S Court Ave, is being transformed into Taco Kat, which will feature tacos and multiple types of tequila.
