Evelyn Collins

Collins, Evelyn. 75, of Longwood, FL, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022. She was born in Newark, NJ, on May 11, 1947.

Evelyn graduated from Glassboro State College, and had a long career as an elementary school teacher, most frequently teaching fourth grade. Her career included teaching in schools in Waycross, GA; Iowa City, IA; St. Joseph, MO; Atlanta, GA; and Altamonte Springs, FL.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend who dedicated her life to excellence in Catholic education.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, and is survived by her two sons, her daughter, and four grandchildren.

The Mass of Resurrection will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, on Monday, November 14th, at 3:30PM.
