Orlando woman wins $1 million, one number off from $119 million Powerball prize

An Orlando woman who claimed a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery was only one number away from the $119 million Powerball grand prize.

On Monday, November 14, Orlando resident Irma Breek claimed a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery Orlando District Office, which is located at 380 S State Rd 434 #1028 in Altamonte Springs.

Breek purchased the ticket for the POWERBALL® drawing that was held on July 23. Breek’s winning Quick Pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Power Ball number. State records show that at the time, the prize for getting all five numbers and the Powerball was approximately $119 million.

According to lottery officials, Breek purchased her $1 million-winning Quick Pick ticket from the Publix located at 1501 Meeting Place Baldwin Park in Orlando.
