19-year-old identified as victim in fatal shooting after Jones High School football game

Police have identified a 19-year-old man that was killed after an Orlando high school football game last weekend.

The Orlando Police Department is looking for the suspects responsible for the homicide of Gamaine Patrick Brown, who was shot and killed on Saturday, November 12 in a parking lot at Jones High School in Orlando.

Orlando Police Department officers who were working extra duty at the Jones High School vs. Wekiva High School football game responded to the incident at around 8:22 p.m. after hearing gunshots in a parking lot.

Brown was pronounced deceased at the scene, while two other victims were transported to the hospital with injuries, one by police, and one self-transported.

Authorities previously had four juvenile suspects in custody, one of which was found in possession of a firearm, that they believed to be responsible for the shooting. They have since determined that the four juveniles and the gun were not apart of the incident.

If you or anyone you know has any information that can help police in their investigation, contact the Orlando Police Department at 321-235-5300, or submit an anonymous tip through the Central Florida Crimeline at 800-423-8477.
