Osceola High School student stabbed to death by 17-year-old

A 17-year-old was arrested after a 16-year-old Osceola High School girl was found stabbed to death at a Kissimmee apartment complex on Thursday morning.

Anas Muhammad was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of Paola Pagan, who was found by police at the Kensington Apartments at 6:21 a.m. on Thursday, November 17.

According to the Kissimmee Police Department, Pagan was discovered with life-threatening injuries by officers responding to the incident. She was treated on the scene by paramedics before she was transported to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

During their investigation, detectives identified Muhammad as a person of interest in the case. Muhammad, who lived in the same apartment complex as Pagan, ultimately confessed to the stabbing and led police to evidence used in the commission of the crime.

Muhammad was charged with murder and transported and booked into the Osceola Juvenile Detention Center with no bond.
