Missing 57-year-old woman cut wrists with box cutter during altercation

UPDATE: Sanford Police Department has located Garber as of 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1.

A 57-year-old woman went missing in Sanford after an altercation that ended with her cutting her wrists with a box cutter.

Sanford Police Department officers responded to a disturbance at a residence on Gale Place on Wednesday, November 30.

According to police, a verbal altercation occurred between Lori Ann Garber and a victim who has an active restraining order against her. During the altercation, Garber allegedly ran toward the victim with a box cutter.

Garber then cut her own wrists with the box cutter before leaving the scene in a blue, two-door, Jeep Wrangler with Florida tag JLWR85.

Garber stands approximately 5’4″, weighs 140 pounds, has hazel eyes and blond hair. She was last seen wearing a long sleeve, dark blue and light blue striped shirt, jeans, and cream-colored sandals.
