Vehicle submerged in retention pond near 408, I-4 overpasses in downtown Orlando

Orlando Fire Department retrieved a vehicle that was submerged in a retention pond near the SR 408 and I-4 overpasses in downtown Orlando.

According to an OFD social media post, the dive team responded to a call on Thursday, April 21 concerning a submerged vehicle in the retention pond near the highways.

Divers entered the water and did not find any occupants, according to authorities.

In addition to OFD, the Orlando Police Department and a local wrecker company responded to the scene.
