Police searching for Porsche driver seen street racing, striking I-4 wall in video

Law enforcement authorities are looking for the driver of a Porsche that was caught on video allegedly street racing before striking a wall on I-4.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash took place on I-4 westbound between Altamonte and Maitland on Wednesday, April 20, at around 5:30 p.m.

Witnesses say a Porsche was racing a white sedan on the highway when it lost control and struck a center barrier wall.

The Porsche fled the scene without reporting the crash. According to FHP, a witness followed the Porsche to a Racetrac gas station on Lee Road, where the driver abandoned the car.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and the owner of the Porsche has not reached out to FHP.

The vehicle is registered out of Ohio, according to authorities.

The crash remains under investigation
