Police looking for Disney employee missing since 2017

Law enforcement agents are asking the public for help in locating a Disney employee who has been missing for five years and was last seen in Polk County.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is continuing to investigate the disappearance of Brian Edward Klecha, who was 35-years-old when he went missing in 2017.

According to authorities, Klecha was last seen making a bank transaction on December 27, 2017, at the MidFlorida Credit Union in Auburndale, Florida.

Police say that Klecha has ties to Orange, Polk, and Hillsborough counties, and was employee of the Disney Corporation at the time of his disappearance.

Authorities say that Klecha did not “leave or go missing on his own,” and believe he may have “been the victim of domestic or drug abuse,” according to a press release from FDLE.

On February 11, 2018, Klecha’s vehicle was found abandoned on State Road 618 in Tampa at the Morgan Street exit. Investigators believe the Jeep was involved in a car accident a few days before it was found.

If you have any information about the whereabouts or disappearance of Brian Edward Klecha, contact Special Agent Mark Seckley at 813-557-5287 or 813-878-7334.
