A Seminole County man claimed a $5 million prize after purchasing a scratch-off from a Longwood 7-Eleven.
According to a press release from the Florida Lottery, 53-year-old Paul Broomfield of Winter Springs claimed the prize this week from the $5,000,000 LUCK Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Orlando district office.
Broomfield chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,815,000.
The 7-Eleven that sold the ticket is located at 496 East State Road 434 in Longwood. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission.
The $20-game launched in September 2019 and features more than $329 million in cash prizes, including six top prizes of $5 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-2.97.
