Health food inspector

A Chinese restaurant in Kissimmee was forced to temporarily close its doors last week after a health inspector cited multiple violations.

Lin Garden II, which is located at 381 Cypress Parkway in Kissimmee, was closed on Thursday, June 16, after a food health inspector from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation cited nearly a dozen violations.

Among those violations were two considered high priority, including the presence of at least 8 live roaches in various places around the restaurant. An additional 10 to 15 dead roaches were found throughout the kitchen area, according to the report.

The business was permitted to reopen on Friday, June 17, after only nine violations remained.
