McAlister’s Deli is nearing completion on its newest location in South Orlando.
Located along Palm Parkway, next door to recently opened First Watch and World of Beer, the deli is currently building out a parcel in the developing O-Town West.
As its namesake suggests, McAlister’s Deli serves up a variety of cold and hot sandwiches, salads, soups, and potatoes (spuds). Sandwich types include clubs, melts, subs, and wraps, and feature a variety of deli meats and cheeses.
The popular deli chain previously operated a location near the University of Central Florida before closing that down.
The new location will mark the first foray back into Orlando, with multiple locations situated throughout other parts of central Florida, including nearby Ocala and The Villages.
McAlister’s Deli joins a long list of restaurants in Orlando that are currently under construction, including a slew in O-Town West. That includes a Tijuana Flats just next door, as well as Bubbakoo’s Burritos and Vitality Bowls, which are both under construction just down the road.
