Orange and Seminole County residents claimed nearly $50,000 in scratch-off prizes through a recently launched game by the Florida Lottery.
Eight residents scattered across Apopka, Sanford, Orlando, Altamonte Springs, and Oviedo, claimed a total of $48,000 in prizes from the Monopoly Doubler family of scratch-off games that launched on July 4.
The biggest winner was Cheryl Seaberg of Apopka, who claimed a $25,000 prize through the game. Four other local residents claimed prizes of $5,000, while the remaining three claimed prizes of $1,000.
