An Apopka fast food restaurant was forced to temporarily close its doors after a health inspector cited multiple violations, including the presence of roaches.
The Zaxby’s located at 928 East Semoran Boulevard was forced to close its doors on Wednesday, April 5, after failing a health inspection by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
At least seven violations were cited during the inspection, including two considered high priority.
The inspector cited at least a dozen roaches in and around a breader station, as well as roaches crawling on the kitchen floor.
The restaurant was permitted to reopen on Thursday, April 6, after a follow-up inspection yielded only one violation.
