Joyce Evans Farr, 77, of Sanford, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 28, 2023. She was born in Orlando, Florida to Henry Clifton Evans and Mary Rose Reynolds on June 16, 1945.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Dave Farr; daughters; Julie (John) Larner, Jackie (David) Thomas, Debbie (Lance) Abney and daughter-in-law Gina Farr; her grandchildren Matt (Brigit) Larner, Emily (Josh) Costello, Greg (Nikki) Larner, Jennie Larner, Jared (Dan) Thomas, Amy (Shawna) Thomas, Emma (Mark) Biedler, Sam (Lexie) Farr and Molly Farr; her great-grandchildren Ellie, Brooke, Rocco, Finn, Lilly, Zoey and Isabel; her brother Larry (Charlene) Evans; her brothers-in-law Robert (Linda) Farr and Mark (Carla) Farr.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, her son David Farr and brother-in-law Jim Farr.
Joyce was born to be a mother and enjoyed her role as Momma and Nana to the fullest. She loved cooking, reading and going to the beach, but the thing that made her most happy was being with her family. Her laughter was contagious and her smile could light up a room. She never met a stranger and it was impossible to be in a bad mood around her. Joyce loved the Lord and served Him faithfully in many roles, but enjoyed singing in the choir the most!
Joyce will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2pm at Saint Andrew’s Chapel, 5525 Wayside Drive, Sanford, FL 32771.
