Teen goes missing after bus drops him off in ‘unusual’ place

Law enforcement authorities are asking the public for help to locate an 18-year-old who was last seen being dropped off by his school bus at an unusual stop.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Tyler Van Macks was last seen at the intersection of N. Stewart Street and South Stewart Street on Tuesday, May 16, at around 3:15 p.m.

Van Macks requested that his bus driver drop him off at the location mentioned above, which police described as unusual. In the past, Van Macks had consistently been dropped off in front of his residence near the area.

After he was dropped off, Van Macks traveled in an unknown direction.

He was last seen wearing a red shirt, dark pants, blue shoes, and an unknown-colored backpack.

Van Macks, who attends high school in Poinciana, is described as standing 6’1″ tall, weighing 165 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
