The Orlando Public Library is inviting those interested in celebrating two upcoming solar eclipses to stop by and make some cookie models of the sun.
The cookie-making event will held on Friday, September 29, from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Orlando Public Library, which is located at 101 E Central Boulevard in downtown Orlando.
The library and its staff are hosting the event to celebrate the two solar eclipses coming to North America in the coming weeks, including the annular eclipse on October 14.
Visitors will be able to create a model of the sun that is edible using candy pieces and a cookie. All ages are welcome to attend the free event.
