Carlos Vives coming to downtown Orlando this month

A Grammy-winning Colombian superstar who has sold millions of records worldwide will take the stage at the Amway Center later this month.

Carlos Vives will perform at the Amway Center (400 W Church St.) on Sunday, October 29, at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m.

Vives music has helped Vallenato gain popularity globally by combining traditional Vallenato music with pop/rock music, forming a subgenre that has come to be known as “Vallenato-pop”.

Vives has won several awards over the years, including Best Tropical Latin Album at the Grammy Awards, Best Song of the Year, and Record of the Year at the Latin Grammy Awards. He was also inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
