A portion of a popular roadway in Winter Park was briefly closed after a fire broke out in a truck’s wheel well.
The incident took place on Monday, October 30, just outside of the BurgerFi located at 538 S Park Avenue in Winter Park.
Winter Park Police Department officers closed off the street after a fire broke out in a truck’s wheel well.
Crews from the Winter Park Fire Rescue Department responded to the scene and extinguished the small fire.
Officials say that the fire was contained to the wheel well and that it did not spread to the rest of the vehicle or the adjacent building.
The road was reopened without incident shortly after the incident and no injuries were reported.
